Squaw Valley Reservations
Home of the 1960 Olympic Games, Squaw Valley is both a winter and summer resort. In the winter month it is world class skiing. There is the famous cable tram to the top. You'll want to make hotel reservations in Squaw Valley at The Village or one of the hotels at the base of the mountain so you don't have to drive. In summer everything goes golf and fishing. The Resort at Squaw Creek has it's own course and it is beautiful. Just around the corner from Squaw Valley is Northstar at Tahoe in Truckee. You will want to ride a raft down the Truckee River if you come in summer, and you'll want to make Northstar hotel reservations right at their new luxury village. If you want a little gambling action, stay in Incline Village which is only about 20 minutes from Northstar. Incline Village hotel reservations would also allow you to ski at Diamond Peak, a slower pace family resort which also... has a world class golf course.
